N00178-14-D-7585-FD01 - NSWCCD Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Open Systems Architecture (OSA) and Systems Engineering
Through this work under our Seaport-e vehicle, AOC provides the technical expertise to develop and assess ship modular architectures and interfaces at the ship level, systems level and component level. We perform conceptual studies for ship modular open systems and develop the criteria and approach to evaluating the level of OSA application on new ship acquisition programs. Additionally, AOC performs systems engineering efforts associated with the OSA development process for ship design including the development of Interface Control Documents; conducts HM&E ship and system impact studies associated with the application of OSA to ship design; and develop methods for resolution of technical issues caused by application of OSA to ship design including issues of COTS obsolescence. AOC's work culminates in the documentation of the results of our studies, analysis, evaluations, and calculations in the form of impact studies, detailed designs, issue papers, white papers, briefs, and reports.
N00024-14-P-4034 - Advanced Littoral Combat Ship Common Mission Module Handling Device SBIR Contract
AOC provides concept, configuration, and feasibility support in the development of a mission module handling device that will be used on the Freedom and Independent Variant ships in the LCS class.
U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Combatant Craft, Medium Mark 1 (CCM Mk1) Reliability Analysis
The CCM Mk I Program is an acquisition program to develop, test, produce, field, and sustain a modern, agile, adaptive, technically relevant, reliable, and operationally capable combatant craft system in support of SOCOM. The contract will include production of low observable systems, integration and testing of craft tactical computing systems, full life-cycle integrated logistics support, and incremental development and upgrades.
