Abbott On Call, Inc. Announces Hire of Vice President of Business Development

October 2022 – Abbott On Call, a WOSB specializing in engineering services, systems engineering, and naval consulting is pleased to announce that Mr. William (Bill) Mish has joined our executive management team as the Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Mish brings to Abbott On Call a stellar reputation with over 20 years of experience in various Engineering Program and Project Management Roles. He is a subject matter expert in a variety of industry practices, with a specific focus on Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering Design to include design testing and implementation of leading edge, complex prototype projects. He was instrumental in leading the multi-year Architectures Interface and Modular Systems (AIMS) program to support Flexible Infrastructure (FI) on the US Navy LCS, CVN, LHA, DDG1000 platforms saving the Navy up to 40% on lifecycle cost; and in the Chief Engineer role for Modular CONSOL Adaptor Kit (MCAK), designing cutting-edge modular ship structure and component prototypes which will increase Navy refueling tanker capacity by 10x. In addition, Mr. Mish played a key role in the supporting of Product Architecture Domain Modeling (PADM) – Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) program for SEA03.

Mr. Mish joins Abbott On Call from ManTech and Gryphon Technologies, Inc where he was the Director of Engineering Programs and Operations. He received Bachelor of Science (BS) in Ocean & Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Saint Mary’s College. Mr. Mish also has a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
